This is copy number 391 of 600 copies on velin d’arches, out of a total printing of 615 copies, published by Éditions Poésie et Cie. in 1939, of Ivan Goll’s collection of poems, “Troisième Livre de Jean Sans Terre” (43 numbered pages).
The soft cover, in its original glassine wrap, is slightly toned at the borders, but otherwise fine, with no notable stains, no tears, and no fade to the art or lettering. The inside is clean throughout, with no stains or scuffs, and with no fade to the Galanis illustration, a repeat of the cover art. The only writing is a note, on the otherwise blank front end page, to the composer Marcel Mihalovici, a friend of and occasional collaborator with Ivan Goll, signed by the author.
