This is Arthur Davison Ficke and Witter Bynner’s hoax, “Spectra” written under the pseudonyms Anne Knish and Emanuel Morgan, and published by Mitchell Kennerley in 1916.
This copy, in very good overall condition, has a note on the front end page, dated 1926, signed by Bynner as Emanuel Morgan. There is sunning to the cover borders, and wear, with some loss, to the ends of the spine, which has some stains (see photo).
The art to the front and back cover is unfaded. The inside is clean throughout, with no notable stains to any pages, no tears or creases, and no loose or missing pages. There are no stamps or other attachments.
The only writing is Bynner’s signed note.
