This is copy number 39 of the 1988 Blue Moon Books & John Calder first edition publication, limited to 226 copies (numbered 1 to 200 and A to Z) of Samuel Beckett’s final work, “Stirrings Still”, with art by Louis le Brocquy – 1 two-colour image of Beckett’s head and 8 black and white lithographs, printed by Atelier Chave on Velin de Rives 300 gramme paper, bound in quarter parchment and textured cloth, with a gold le Brocquy motif to the front cover.
The slipcase is of the same material as the cover. The signatures of both Beckett and le Brocquy are on the limitation page. This copy has the original prospectus (see photo). This is a fine copy in a fine slipcase.
