.........................
This the 1896 first edition Floury publication of André Mellerio’s “Le Mouvement Idéaliste en Peinture” (74 numbered pages, plus advertisements).
This has been recovered, with the original brown paper wrappers, after Henry Nocq, mounted to boards, and with the author/title in gold on a leather spine. The inside is near fine, with all pages clean and without tears or creases.
The Odilon Redon frontispiece illustration, with the tissue guard in place, is as new.
The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages. There are no stamps or other attachments. The only writing is a brief gift inscription, to the top of the title page.
The accompanying photos are of this copy.
