This is copy number 326, on japon creme paper, of the 500 copy Nouvelle Édition, printed by Bergerac for Tacussel (Marseille) in 1929, of G. Arnaud D’Agnel’s Le Meuble, Ameublement Provençal & Comtadin, du Moyen-Age å la fin du XVIII Siècle, with all text in french.
This is a near fine copy, with the linen surfaced hardcover (app. 13.5″ x 10.75″) clean and without tears, with attached title text and graphics unfaded, and with the attachment to the inside secure.
The text sections, half-title and title spreads, two page avant-propos, followed by 88 pages of historical and art descriptions, are in perfect condition, with the pages uncut and all text as new, with no stains or tears, and with the binding secure.
The following section, 132 full page plates, all to the right hand pages, with the left hand pages blank, are near fine, with occasional spot stains, but with no stains to any live areas, and with no stains of any kind to most pages. The most notable stain is what appears to be ink lines to the outside edge of plate CX.
There are no stamps or other attachments, no writing or notations (other than the copy number), no tears or creases.
The accompanying photos are accurate reflections of the conditions.
