This is a first printing copy, published by Elkin Mathews in April, 1909, of Ezra Pound’s “Personae” (59 numbered pages).
This is in very good condition, with surface scuffs but no significant stains to the cover (app.4.5″ x 7″), which has bumped outside corners and a shallow bump to the back cover’s bottom edge (see photo), but which is securely connected at the spine, and which has no notable fade to the gilt lettering.
The inside is almost uniformly clean, with a few light scuffs but no notable stains, with all text unfaded and clean, with no stamps or other attachments, and no writing or notations. A few page edges have shallow wear (see photo), but there is no other wear, no turned-down corners or the like, and no looseness to the binding, which is tight throughout. The accompanying photos are of this copy.
