.........................
This is the seven volume Gallimard l’édition de la Pléiade 1968/69 publication of Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu, illustrated by Philippe Jullian, with the set number 10333 at the end of volume 7.
The covers (app. 9.375″ x 6.5″), green leather with gold lettering and design, have scuffs to some spines (particularly volume VI – see photo), but they are unfaded, unstained, and securely bound. The spines are straight, and the gilt lettering clearly legible.
The insides (458, 528, 390, 485, 466, 487 and 365 numbered pages) are clean and without attachments or writing. The binding are uniformly tight. The many illustrations and all text are in fine condition. I’ve found two pages with shallow creases to their bottoms. There are no other such flaws.
The accompanying photos are of this set.
